Cover Letters

If you are sending your CV out to potential employers, a CV on its own can look a bit cold. So you may need a cover letter to accompany your CV. Most job ads these days will specifically request one. Let us type and format a professional cover letter for you. A cover letter can be in response to an ad or simply a speculative enquiry to assess the prospects of employment. Whatever the circumstances, supply us with the details and we will format a letter for you, printed on good quality paper to match your accompanying CV.

If you require a generic cover letter, which you intend to use for multiple applications, it is possible to have the letter template in Microsoft Word © format on disc for your personal use, so you can use the layout as required.

If you are intending to send out multiple applications in one go, you may encounter the problem of how to mass produce the same letter without it being obvious to the recipients. We are happy to advise on this. We do not condone photocopying! We have extensive experience in implementing small, carefully targeted mailshots. Just supply us with the recipient's details and we will take care of it. Prices vary according to the size of the mailshot, and we can include the cost of supplying paper, envelopes and even postage.

CV Updating Service

When complete, we will retain a copy of your CV on file should you require future updates and amendments. Many of our clients rely on us to have a copy of their existing CV to hand and our experience proves that clients keep coming back to us again and again.

Job Applications

Need help with personal statements or application forms? You may find that many applications will be criteria based and ask questions about why you feel your are suitable or what skills you can bring to the position. Some of these questions today can be just as tricky as putting together a CV. But the principle is the same. If you encounter this problem, let us know and we will offer some advice, or prepare some answers for you.

Sample Packs

If you want to check out our credentials before you commit yourself, we do have a sample pack available to order by post. The pack contains several samples of real CVs on various types of paper, to give you a better idea of our finished product. You may wish to purchase the sample pack for your personal use. If you just want to have an idea of how to lay out your own CV, then the sample pack will provide plenty of ideas and inspiration.
